Description

This classic spinach and cheese ravioli filling is creamy, flavorful, and easy to prepare. Made with ricotta, Parmesan, and spinach, it’s a perfect balance of richness and freshness, ideal for homemade or store-bought pasta dough.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup ricotta cheese

1 cup fresh or frozen spinach (cooked and drained)

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

½ tsp garlic powder

½ tsp salt

¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, cooked spinach, and grated Parmesan.
  2. Add garlic powder, salt, and black pepper, mixing until smooth and well combined.
  3. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  4. Use immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
  5. Fill ravioli with the mixture, seal, and cook in boiling water for 2–4 minutes, or until they float.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg or red pepper flakes.

If using frozen spinach, thaw and squeeze out excess moisture before mixing.
